Creating a Family Entertainment Space
Recommended to us by a previous client, this family approached iCubed looking to create a stylish entertainment space that would complement the renovation of their living room whilst making the most of the available space.
Following an initial consultation, Iain visited their home to understand how the room was used, discuss their entertainment requirements and explore the design possibilities available within the space.
Working closely together, we refined the audio package and carefully selected a combination of finishes that would balance performance with aesthetics, ensuring the final design felt perfectly at home within the newly renovated room.
The completed iCubed Media Wall featured our Immersive entertainment package, complemented by a Black Oak slatted timber panel, Ink Blue suede acoustic fabric and a combination of bold and diffused LED lighting to create depth, atmosphere and visual impact.
Professionally installed in a single day, with particular care was taken to integrate the media wall around the existing coving, preserving the character of the room whilst delivering a clean and seamless finish.
The result is a beautiful entertainment space that has transformed how the family enjoy films, television, music and time together at home.
Designing Around Character and Space
Having discovered iCubed Media Walls, our clients approached us looking to create an inviting entertainment space where they could enjoy films, television and music together as a family.
During the consultation process, it quickly became clear that the room presented several design challenges. Exposed beams and limited installation depth required a carefully considered approach to ensure the finished media wall felt perfectly integrated within the character of the space whilst still delivering the performance our clients desired.
By understanding how the room would be used and the importance they placed on sound quality, we were able to develop a design that balanced aesthetics, practicality and exceptional entertainment.
A slight departure from our traditional media wall design, this project featured fabric panels throughout, including the television section, creating a softer and more contemporary appearance. Our Immersive entertainment package was selected to deliver a truly engaging surround sound experience, whilst luxurious Moss Green suede acoustic fabric introduced warmth, depth and character to the room.
Installed over two days, the finished result is a beautifully considered entertainment space that feels both elegant and welcoming. Rich textures, deep tones and exceptional sound combine to create the perfect environment for our clients to relax, unwind and lose themselves in their favourite films.
Balancing Immersive Entertainment with Interior Design
After first meeting at a Home Renovation Show, our clients invited iCubed to help create a family entertainment space where films, television and everyday living could coexist beautifully within their newly renovated home.
During the consultation process, it quickly became clear that two priorities would shape the design. Exceptional sound performance was essential, but equally important was ensuring the technology complemented the overall interior design rather than dominating it.
A key requirement was the integration of a stunning 98-inch television. Fortunately, the flexibility of the iCubed Media Wall design allowed us to accommodate the large screen effortlessly whilst maintaining the balanced proportions and elegant aesthetic that define every iCubed installation.
To deliver the immersive experience our clients were seeking, the Immersive entertainment package was selected, complemented by luxurious Ink Blue suede acoustic fabric and a striking Oak slatted timber panel. Brushed Gold detailing and subtle diffused LED lighting provided the finishing touches, adding warmth, depth and refinement to the overall design.
As part of the wider home renovation, the project was completed over four days, including pre-wiring, construction, finishing and audio calibration to ensure every detail was completed to the highest standard.
The result is a beautifully integrated entertainment space where design and performance work in perfect harmony. For this family of three, movie nights have never been more engaging, with immersive surround sound capturing every detail whilst remaining seamlessly concealed within the elegant iCubed Media Wall design.
Bringing the iCubed Philosophy to Life
Every iCubed Media Wall project is special to us, but our showroom installation holds a unique place within our journey.
For the first time, we became our own client.
The challenge was simple yet surprisingly difficult. How could we create a space that truly reflected everything we believe about entertainment, design and everyday living whilst working within the constraints of our own showroom environment?
The answer was to create an entertainment space that embodied the very philosophy behind the iCubed Media Wall.
Designed to showcase both our Signature and Signature Plus entertainment packages, the installation combines our most popular finish combination of Ink Blue suede acoustic fabric, Oak slatted timber panels and Brushed Gold detailing. To further enhance the atmosphere, a beautifully integrated fireplace was included, introducing warmth, ambience and another layer of visual interest to the design.
More than a display, this space allows visitors to experience the iCubed Media Wall exactly as it was intended. To hear the difference exceptional audio can make. To appreciate how carefully selected finishes work together. And to understand how an entertainment space can become both a beautiful feature within the home and a place where people genuinely enjoy spending time.
